Hello all! I have just finished fretting my guitar which has a bound fretboard. I noticed that on two or three frets the overhang is not quite flush to the board. What would be the best glue to fix this problem. I have on hand : West System Epoxy, System Three Epoxy, hardware variety 5 minute epoxy, CA (Hot Stuff, Super T), Franklin's Polyurethane... and all the white and yellow glues but I don't think these would be any good. Thanks in advance for your thoughts on the matter. |

I would put a dot of CA under there and clamp it down with a spring clamp. |

Also make sure before fretting that the fretwire is curved slightly more than the radius of the board. Colin |

Thanks for your replies guys. I had over-radiused the frets before installing them, but having done it by hand, I guess those weren't bent enough... I'll try giving them a gentle 'tonk' and see what happens... |

What Paul and others said. I would also make sure the slots are cleaned of any debris so the tang can seat all the way. |
